Funding

Usually we are self funding by holding a raffle and sale of rereshments at meetings.  However, since July 2008 we received a grant from the Merseyside Disability Federation Social Risk Capital Fund.

We hope to use the grant to raise awareness of haemochromatosis and develop links with the specialist nurses, who usually manage our condition on a regular basis.  We want to reach those effected directly or indirectly by haemochromatosis and introduce them to the benefits of belonging to the support group.
