Our Aims
1. To support and care for members living in the Merseyside and Northwest areas of England.
2. Provide a link to the Society.
3. Maintain links with health professionals.
4. Encourage mutual support and friendship.
5. Share information and experiences in a confidential atmosphere.
6. Raise awareness of haemochromatosis.
7. Help those effected by haemochromatosis to move forward and build confidence.
8. Develop links with hospitals treating patients with haemochromatosis and their related illnesses via specialist nurses and PALs.
9. Distribute support leaflets that contain a list of phone numbers for 1-to-1 support, and establish a buddy system.
10. To diminish feelings of isolation.
